A man in North Carolina has been arrested after video of him knocking out a 12-year-old girl went viral over the weekend.
51-year-old David Steven Bell was arrested on Saturday after a video showed him pushing and punching a girl at the Asheville Mall in Asheville, North Carolina. Bell was surrounded by onlookers as he attacked the little girl.
Authorities arrested Bell shortly after the video circulated on social media, WLOS reports.

The Ashville Mall released a statement on Facebook confirming that an arrest had been made.
The Citizen-Times reports that all parties involved refused medical treatment. Bell has since been charged with assault on a female under the age of 12 and two counts of assault on a female, The Root reports.
